In this video, I provide some background on the concept of randomness and the distribution that governs the random event of card drawing in games like MTG. I then show the results of a small, crowd-sourced study of the MTGA shuffler. The tests show no sufficient evidence that the shuffler is behaving in a way that deviates from what is expected. Furthermore, simulations done demonstrate that if there is some rigging introduced in the shuffler, such rigging is easily detectable by available tools.
